DuetothemodulardesignitispossibletocarryoutaretrofittoanexistingStandingFramewith
anelectricstraprewinderlater.Forchangingfrommanualtoelectricstraprewinder,please
proceedasfollows:
1. Removethetwosecuringscrews(Fig.19,item1)onthetwoguidebars.
2. Supportthemanualstraprewinderwithyourforearmswhilestandingbehindthedeviceto
avoiduncontrolledslippingwhenpullingtheindexingplungers(Fig.20).
3. Simultaneouslypullonbothindexingplungers(Fig.20)andletthestraprewinderslide
downwardsontheguidebars.
4. Slidetheelectricstraprewinderupontheguidebarstothedesiredposition.Duringmount-
ingandheightadjustment,alwaysensurethattheindexingplungersengageproperly.
5. Installthetwosecuringscrewsontheguidebars(Fig.19,item1)..
5.2.3 Replacing the Fuse in Case of Device Failure
Fusesmayonlybereplacedbyqualifiedpersonnel.
Inthiscase,pleasecontactyourauthorisedspecialistdealer.
5.3 Swivelling Support Pads (Fig. 21 / 22)
TheStandingFramesKR020034andKR020033areequippedwithswivellingsupportpads
insteadoftheelectricstraprewinderanduserbelt.Theseswivellingpadshavebeendesigned
primarilyforuserswhoareabletogetintothestandingpositioninonesinglemovement.
Byswivellingintheleftandrightpelvicpadstowardsthebody(swivellingonepadwillmove
bothpadssimultaneously)thepelvicpadslockautomaticallyintoposition,theuserwillnowbe
stabilisedinthepelvicareaandwillbesafelysupportedinthestandingposition.
Ifnecessary,makeafineadjustmentofthesupportpaddistance.Forthispurpose,extend/
shortenthetierodbyturningtotheleft/right(Fig.21).
Finally,testthefunctionoftheantifallguard.Forthispurpose,slidetheantifallguardtowards
thetablebendandtightentheclampinglever(Fig.22).Theswivellingmechanismmustno
longerreleasenow.
