BeforeusingtheStandingFrame,releasethetwoclampinglevers(Fig.23,item1)ofthesup-
portbarandslidethesupportbarbackwardsonthehandrails.Pleasenotetheleft-handrail
isslightlylonger,thisistoallowthesupportbartoslideofftherightrailandswingdownwards
outofthewayfortransferring(Fig.24).
Asmallsecuringscrewattheendofthelefthandrailbarpreventsthesupportbarfrompulling
offcompletely.Aftertheuserhasstoodup,anattendantslidesthesupportbarbackontheright
handrailbarandfixesitintopositionwiththeclampinglevers.

Theupperbodysupport(Fig.7)providesoptimalfixationofpatientswithupperbodyinstability.
Toassembletheupperbodysupportwithheadrestandbelt,thesupportbarwithtwolateral
padsisrequired(seeSection5.4).Aftertheuserhasstoodup,anattendantslidesthesupport
barwiththetwolateralpadsfrombehindoverthehandrailbarsandfixesitwiththeclamping
levers(seeSection5.4).
Afterpullingtheindexingplunger(Fig.25,item1),theupperbodysupportcanbeinsertedinto
theslidingsleeve(Fig.25,item2).
