[2-9] and anti-drip device [2-10]. The clamping yoke [1-17] must be
mounted pointing towards the nozzle.
4. With SATAjet 1000 H RP: Fill suction cup [2-8] (max. 200 mm below
upper edge), close with the lid [2-11].
5. Screw connection nipple [2-13] onto the air inlet.
6. Connect compressed air hose [2-14].
7.1. Adjust spray gun inlet pressure
• Fully pull trigger and adjust spray gun inlet pressure (see chapter 2)
according to one of the follwing sections [3-1], [3-2], [3-3] to [3-4],
then release the trigger.
• With [3-2], [3-3] and [3-4], the air micrometer [1-8] must be fully
opened/in vertical position.
• If the required spray gun inlet pressure is not reached, the pressure
at the compressed air circuit has to be increased; too high pressure
results in too high trigger forces.
[3-1] SATA adam 2 (accessory / accurate method).
[3-2] Adjustable separate gauge (accessory).
[3-3] Non-adustable separate gauge (accessory).
[3-4] Pressure regulation at the compressed air circuit (most
inaccurate method): rule of thumb: pressure at the pressure re-
ducer must be set 0.6 bar higher than the recommended spray gun
inlet pressure per every 10 m of air hose (inner width 9 mm).
7.2. Adjust material flow
al flow control fully opened
With the material flow control fully opened, the wear of the fluid tip and
paint needle is reduced to a minimum. Please select the correct nozzle
size depending on the material to be applied and the required applica-
tion speed.
With SATAjet 1000 K: Fully pull trigger and adjust required material sup-
ply pressure, e.g. at pressure tank.
