over the lamination anchor arms.
17) Pull one layer of Perlon stockinette over the model.
18) Pull two layers of carbon fibre stockinette over the model.
19) Pull two layers of Perlon stockinette over the model and tie off
below the cap screw of the lamination anchor.

5.3 Laminating a Transtibial Socket
Required tools and materials:
>
711S4* bending iron, 99B81 PVA bag, 623T3 Perlon stockinette,
616B1 carbon fibre cloth strap, 699B1 fibreglass roving, 616G12
carbon fibre cloth, 616G15 carbon fibre stockinette, 617H119

1) Mount a screwed insert according to section "Mounting of the
screwed insert" (see Page 11).
2) Pull a soaked PVA bag over the model. The PVA bag should be
sealed by heat welding at the distal end.
3) Pull two layers of Perlon stockinette over the model.
4) Place three layers of carbon fibre cloth (e.g. 15 cm x15 cm), off
set on the distal end of the model.
5) Pull two layers of Perlon stockinette over the model.
6) Bring the lamination anchor arms in the correct a - p and m - l
position. Never align the threaded clamping in the anterior or pos
terior direction.
7) Place the lamination anchor at the socket end as required for
proper alignment and set.

the screwed insert can still be screwed in and out.
2) Unscrew the screwed insert from the lamination anchor.
3) Screw in the lamination dummy.

5.5 Installing the distal prosthetic components

Mounting of a screwed insert

with an external thread (e.g. pyramid adapter or prosthetic knee joint).
Required tools: 710D4 torque wrench, 636K13 Loctite®
>
1) Screw in the screwed insert (e.g. pyramid adapter) completely
