3.5 LIFT IDENTIFICATION AND PICTOGRAMS DESCRIPTION

The safety signals (fig. 4) described in this manual are applied on the lift (Fig. 5), and warn about unsafe and hazardous situations.
Decals shall be kept clean and, if detached or damaged, they shall be immediately changed.
Carefully read the meaning of the safety signals, and memorise it:
Danger signal. Before carrying out any
1 maintenance operation, stop the equip-
ment and consult the user's manual
Danger signal. Fall possibility. Do not get

up on the runways
3 Danger signal. Risk of feet shearing.
4 Danger signal. Voltage on.

Each lift is supplied with the identification plates (6, Fig.4) relating to the different versions.
Data (A) and (B) have always to be mentioned for any service and spare parts need.
WARNING: Once the assembly has been carried out, the operator should apply the identification plate in the proper position
according to the installed lift version (14, Fig. 1).

3.6 INTENDED USE

The vehicle lifts described in this manual are designed and manufactured for lifting vehicles for inspection, maintenance and/
or repair purposes only.
• The vehicle lift should be used only for lifting vehicles within the load capacity limits given in the IDENTIFICATION
PLATE (14, Fig. 1) and in paragraph 1.3 "LOAD DISTRIBUTION" (Fig. 3)
