USING THE FOWLER X-RAY CASSETTE HOLDER

To access the fowler x-ray cassette holder:
1.
Raise the fowler section.
2.
Grasp the handles (A) and squeeze, until the
locating pins (B) disengage from the mounting
brackets (C).
3.
Lower the tray and install the x−ray cassette.
4.
Reverse steps 1 & 2 to install the loaded tray into
the fowler mounting brackets (C).
5.
To completely remove the tray from the fowler, lift
the bottom of the tray out of the mounting brackets
(D).
Note: The tray position can be adjusted from the
patient's head to the seat section by loosening the
knob on the front of the tray, then sliding the tray to the
desired position and retightening the knob.

OPERATING THE HEEL STIRRUPS

To use the heel stirrups:
1.
Turn the handle (A) on the lock screw that is located under the litter frame and swing the stirrup assembly into
position.
2.
Tighten the handle (A) to hold the assembly in place.
3.
Loosen the knob (B) and pull
out the extension tube (C) to the
desired length.
4.
Tighten the knob (B).
5.
Loosen the knob (D) and raise
or lower the stirrup (E) to the
desired height.
6.
Tighten the knob (D).
