Adjusting the distance from the brace joint to the ankle
1) Position the foot on the sole (8) and make an outline drawing (see fig. 2).
Use the removable insole as a template. The pivot point of the brace joint
has to line up with the pivot point of the ankle joint.
2) Make sure that the ankle joint and brace ankle joint do not touch.
3) Cut the sole (8) to the required size (see fig. 3).
4) Round off the edges of the sole. Use a silicone sanding cone.
5) Optional: Take out the removable insole.
6) Insert the brace into the shoe (see fig. 5).
7) Put the brace on together with the shoe.
Optional: Gluing on the insole
1) Roughen the top of the foot component.
2) Apply adhesive to the roughened foot component and glue on the insole.
In doing so, ensure that the distance between the brace ankle joint and
the ankle joint is not reduced.
Optional: Adjusting the correction strength
>
The brace is in the shoe.
1) On the contralateral side, insert the height adjuster to compensate for
the sole thickness up to 6 mm.
2) Put the brace on together with the shoe.
3) Loosen the 2 Allen head screws (5) (see fig. 4).
