5.2.7.3.2. VOX SETTING
This mode lets you control the sound activation of
your baby monitor. If you enable the
VOX mode on the monitor and there is no sound
around the camera, the latter will stop transmitting.
However, it will keep picking up the sounds using a
minimum amount of power. The monitor screen will go
off if the camera is not transmitting. When the camera
detects any sound higher than the sensitivity setting,
it will start transmitting the signal to the monitor again.
To disable this function and see the monitored area
continuously, you must disable the
VOX mode on the monitor.
• VOX mode disabled: The camera transmits
continuously, allowing it to constantly monitor your
baby or the area you wish to monitor
• VOX mode enabled: The camera only transmits
when a sound is detected with sufficient intensity -
depending on the level selected - around the camera.

On this menu you can change the power level
transmitted by the camera, choosing from amongst
the high/low options. When at the high position (HI),
coverage will extend 250 meters in open country with
the original power. When at the low position (LOW),
the maximum transmission distance is reduced to
around 120 meters in open country as the transmitting
power is reduced.
