5.1.2 Connection for TIG welding
Carefully read 4.2.
1) Connect
the
earth
clamp (Fig. 11) to the
positive socket (+) of
the generator.
2) Connect the TIG torch
coupling to the torch
socket (
) of the
generator.
For TIG welding opera-
tions in which the torch
is liquid-cooled, carry
out the following connec-
tions:
Ref. Fig. 12
* Make the connection
illustrated in Fig. 12.
Ref. Fig. 13
Connect the torch pipes as
follows:
* torch delivery: generally
blue (cold water) at the
quick-fit coupling indi-
cated by the symbol
(
)
* torch return: generally
red (hot water) at the
quick-fit coupling indi-
cated by the symbol
(
)
For TIG welding in the
torch is NOT liquid-
cooled, it is advisable to
close the cooling circuit
and make the connec-
tions
illustrated
in
Fig.14:
3) Connect the gas pipe
coupling (Fig.15) to the
gas coupling (
) on
the
generator
rear
panel.
Connection for MIG-MAG welding
If the WF104 is used, make
the following connections:
Ref. Fig. 14
* Make the connection illustra-
ted in Fig. 14.
Ref. Fig. 16A / 16B
* Connect the pipes of the
cable and pipe bundle as
described below:
To the WU21 (rear panel) fig.
Fig. 11
16A :
- Connect the liquid delivery
pipe (light blue) to the
coupling (
- Connect the liquid return
pipe (red) to the coupling
(
).
To the WF104 (rear panel) fig.
16B :
- Connect the liquid delivery
pipe (blue) to the coupling
(
).

- Connect the liquid return
pipe (light red) to the
coupling (
Ref. Fig. 17
To the WF104 (front panel):
- Connect the liquid delivery
pipe of the MIG/MAG torch
to the coupling (
