9 - Installation and connections

In the event the appliance is defective, the manufacturer must be promptly notified. It is
forbidden to install the unit without the express consent of the manufacturer.
9.1 - Minimum technical spaces positioning
Before installation, the installer must make sure that:
-
the assembly surface is sufficiently resistant to withstand routine use stresses, such as the weight of the unit
and coolant load,
-
there is enough room to allow for technical assistance and maintenance operations,
-
the chosen installation site is not floodable,
-
the ventilation of the place of installation, natural or forced, is suitable to prevent dangerous concentrations
of ammonia,
-
the temperature of the unit must not exceed 50°C during the stages in which it is not operating,
-
anti-vibration supports and flexible hoses can be used on the water pipes in order to limit vibragtion
propagation through solids.
For indoor installations the installer must also make sure that
-
the installation room complies with the requirements of EN 378-3 and other technical specifications and laws
in force in the place of installation.
For outdoor installations the installer must also
-
position the unit at a level above the average height of snow in the country the appliance is installed in,
-
make sure that the assembly surface is sufficiently resistant to withstand routine use stresses, such as the
weight of the unit and coolant load, as well as accidental ones, such as snow, wind and the like
-
assess the unit noise impact.
9.2 - Inspection upon delivery
Each unit is fitted with a data plate which contains an identification number: check the plate to make sure it is the
correct model.
9.3 - Installation

Installation must be carried out in compliance with the instructions contained in this manual and
according to the requirements of Standard EN 378-3.
In the event of incorrect installation, ammonia may be released.
