PROBLeM
The motor is not running.
The pipe cutter will not turn.
The saw blade is not cutting
and is slipping through.
The saw blade is not cutting.
It is no longer possible to set
the pipe dimension.
The feeder does not start.
Tool breakage.

What to do in the event of tool breakage

POSSIBLe cAUSe
The overload protection relay has
tripped.
The restart inhibitor has tripped.
Pipe diameter not correctly set.
Hexagon nut on the saw blade
shaft not tightened.
The saw blade has been inserted
the wrong way round.
The slide guide is dirty.
Feed force level or motor speed
too low.
Feed rate and cutting speed too high.
X Stop the machine.
X Press the EMERGENCY STOP button (1), remove the mains plug and
undo the hexagon nut on the saw blade.
X Reinsert the mains plug and engage the EMERGENCY STOP button (1).
X Keep pressing the red Stop button (2) on the AVM and, if required,
turn the machine back to its starting position.
X Fit a new tool; remove the mains plug before replacing the tool (see
from chap. 8.5, page 80 ff for details of saw blade milling cutter fitting).

ReMeDy
X With the switch on "0", switch the pipe cutter back
on and allow to run at idle for about 1 minute.
X Set the switch to "0", then switch the pipe cutter
back on.
X Set the pipe dimension correctly (see chap. 8.6,
p. 82).
X Tighten the hexagon nut.
X Insert the saw blade correctly.
The labelling of the saw blade must be visible
when viewed from the front of the machine.
X Clean the slide guide (see chap. 10.3, p. 99).
X Increase feed force level or motor RPMs.
X Ssee chap. 10.4.1, p. 100 for details of the remedy.
If a new tool breaks, do not enter the old
cut as the tool can break again.
