6. Apply saw blade lubricant to the saw blade:

• up to 2": at least every 3 cuts,
• over 2" and with chrome and high-quality steel pipes: prior to every cut

Beveling the pipe manually
IMPORTAnT!
1. Adjust the pipe dimension (see chap. 8.6, p. 82).
2. Adjust the bevel cutter to the pipe dimension (see chap. 8.6.3, p. 84).
3. If necessary, tighten the hexagon nut of the bevel cutter fixture a fraction (see from chap. 8.5, page 80).
4. Adjust the spindle speed (for standard values, see from chap. 8.7.1, page 85).
5. Push the pipe through the vice up to the desired length and clamp it securely.
Pipes whose length exceeds 1 m must be supported with a pipe feeder (see chap. 8.1.3, p. 78).

Use only saw blade lubricant (no oils) from Orbitalum Tools (e.g. GF LUB or GF TOP).
Keep the machine clean. Always remove residue from lubricant from the machine.
For continuous operation: After cutting loosen the hexagon nut on the saw blade to avoid
damage caused by tension.

If the pipe cutter was out of operation for a relatively long time:
X Swivel the cutter motor by 180°.
X Switch pipe cutter on and let it run for about 10 seconds.
This relubricates all gear components.
Pull off the multifunctional wrench from the spindle before the slide housing starts rotating.
GF 4, GF 6, RA 8, RA 12 (AVM/MVM)
7. Switch the motor on.
8. Carefully turn the motor clockwise using the handle (1) until
the pipe wall has been pierced through.
9. Continue turning steadily until the pipe has been cut off.
10. Switch off the machine and wait until the machine/tool
stops running.
