X When first starting to process the pipe with the AVM, a low feed force level is recommended
which may be increased later. Higher levels result in a higher chip production and possibly
also in a higher wear of tools. The intelligent control system of the AVM monitors the
feed force continuously depending on the torque and the parameter settings.
X When cutting thin-walled pipes (wall thickness 3 - 5 mm), always start with level 1 and
select a higher level afterwards.
X Select the feed force level (L - 9) using the
standard values, see the table above).
