All cleaning equipment must be clean.
NOTICE
Material damage due to use of incorrect
cleaning agent.
▪ Do not use abrasive, chemically aggressive, or
easily flammable cleaning agents, e.g. descaling
agents, degreasing agents, solvents (alcohols, ac-
etone, etc.), ammonia or chlorine-containing clean-
ing agents
▪ Do not use any alkaline detergents or acids
Material damage due to use of incorrect
cleaning equipment.
▪ Do not use hard, pointed objects such as steel
blades.
▪ Do not use hard, coarse cleaning equipment such
as steel wool or paper towels.
▪ Glass surfaces: Do not use microfiber cloths.
▪ Glass surfaces: Do not use glass pullers (squee-
gees with rubber lips).
▪ Glass surfaces: Do not use absorbent sponge
cloths or sponges.

11.1.2 Cleaning steps during operation
–
Move the goods to another appliance with the
same product temperature class.
–
Lift up and remove the display shelves, including
the price labelling rail, and clean them before rein-
stalling.
–
Remove food residues, spilled liquids, and pack-
aging residues.
–
Lift and remove or reinstall the bottom shelf only
with the aid of the round recess.
–
Raise and remove the bottom shelf. Clean prior to
reinstalling.
–
Clean the base tray (appliance base), internal sur-
faces, and the front return air grille.
–
If present, clean the drain and drain sieve.

Clean the outside surfaces.
–
Clean the side panels and the appliance frame.
–
If present, clean the shock and water protection
strips.
–
Clean the glass surfaces.
–
Also clean the associated plastic surfaces and
seals. Do not apply large amounts of cleaning
agent to these surfaces to be cleaned.
NOTICE
Material damage due to incorrect cleaning.
▪
No cleaning agent residues may remain on plastic
surfaces and seals.
▪ Always subsequently clean plastic surfaces and
seals with clean water.
▪ During cleaning, do not rub internal glass surfaces
strongly.

Insert cleaned bottom shelves.
CAUTION
Improper installation of the display
shelves.
Risk of injury due to falling of the display
shelves holding goods.
▪ The brackets for display shelves must snap
completely into the openings provided
when being attached.

Attach cleaned display shelves.
–
Dry all cleaned parts and surfaces.
–
Clean the floor around the appliance.
