11.1.3 Main cleaning
Responsibility
The main cleaning is an intensive cleaning procedure.
Only qualified staff and cleaning companies authorised
and trained by AHT may carry out main cleaning.
Cleaning interval
–
At least once a year, or
–
in the case of poor air permeability of the air con-
duits.
Checking of the air conduits by operating personnel (at
least quarterly):
► If the air conduits are filled by more than one third
with dust and dirt, a main cleaning is required.

according to separate maintenance agreement be-
tween AHT and customer.

Follow the cleaning instructions.
These instructions are available from qualified staff and
cleaning companies authorised by AHT.
11.2 Maintenance, service, and re-
pairs
Only qualified staff may carry out maintenance, service,
and repair work, including the following functional test.
In the event of questions relating to maintenance, contact
the maintenance service (see →Maintenance services).
WARNING
Work on the electrical system and re-
frigerant circuit.
Contact with live parts may result in electric
shock. Flammable refrigerant can escape and
cause an explosive gas/air mixture. Fire haz-
ard due to sparking or overload.

the electrical system and refrigerant circuit.

▪ Observe the electrical safety rules prior to
commencing work.
1. Disconnect the appliance.
2. Secure the appliance against reconnec-
tion.
▪ During the repair a competent person with
knowledge of local conditions must be
available as contact for the qualified staff.
▪ Only qualified staff may restart the appli-
ance and perform functional tests.
