Battery replacement control
If error code E11 is displayed (see → Display and
acknowledge alarm), promptly contact the maintenance
service (see → Maintenance services). For the sake of
completeness of data (date, time), an uninterruptible
power supply through the use of this built-in battery is
required.
11.2.4 What to do if ...
All appliances are carefully tested for performance and
safety at the AHT test centre.
Contact the maintenance service promptly (see
→Maintenance services) in the event of:

a malfunction (see →Malfunctions during opera-
tion)
–
loud noises or vibration
–
Failure of the operating and display elements, page
13, chapter 5
Provide the following information:

Appliance type
–
14-digit serial number of the appliance
–
See →Rating plate and serial number

Additional sticker on the appliance (base tray)

Type of malfunction
Make the defective appliance inaccessible to end cus-
tomers.

WARNING
Leakage or residue of flammable re-
frigerant.
Flammable refrigerant can cause an explosive
gas/air mixture. Fire hazard.
▪ Do not damage pipes.
▪ Prior to dismantling and disposal, open the
refrigerant circuit properly and suck off the
refrigerant safely and completely. No resi-
dues may remain in the refrigerant circuit.
▪ Only qualified staff may suck off the refrig-
erant.
Danger of tilting of the device during
disassembly.
Persons may become trapped.
▪ Only qualified staff may disassemble the
appliance.
▪ Use an anti-tilt device.
▪ Do not remove the anti-tilt device (see →
Setup and installation) until there is no
more risk of tilting.

▪ Dispose of components in a professional
and environmentally friendly manner, e.g:

Insulating foam (pentane)

▪ Appliance with brine circuit (system):
Dispose of the appliance according to the
applicable national disposal regulations
and the provisions of the local waste dis-
posal partner.
Procedure for disposal according to the
system documentation.
▪ Appliance without brine circuit (with "AIR"
mode):
Separate collection of electrical and elec-
tronic equipment according to the valid na-
tional disposal regulations (e.g. WEEE
within the EU) and the regulations of the lo-
cal disposal partner.
▪ Dispose of batteries correctly according to
local and national disposal regulations.
▪ Do not dispose of the appliance or batter-
ies with household waste.
