Contact / Guarantee information
Your MULTIcont BL-27/37 is guaranteed for two years from the date
of purchase against manufacturing and material faults.
The guarantee does not cover damage caused by incorrect or incom-
petent handling, reversed polarity, excessive current or voltage, or
crash damage. We deny liability for consequent damage arising from
the use of the controller. If you have queries or ideas, or you need to
send your

ROGRAMMING THE
Programming
Programming the MULTIcont BL-27/37 is as simple as answering a
questions.
There are three programming points (no brake, soft brake hard
brake) for the MULTIcont BL-27/37).
As programmer you simply need to answer "YES" or "NO" to the
values offered by the speed controller.
The possible set-up parameters are indicated by the number of
flashing signals. Answering "NO" to a parameter takes you on to the
following parameter.
Answering "YES" to the desired parameter stores this setting
permanently in the controller's memory.
Caution: if you answer "NO" to all the queried parameters in one
programming stage, the MULTIcont BL-27/37 retains the previously
programmed parameter.
To alter a parameter and store the change permanently you must
answer "YES" to the question.
All the controller's queries regarding parameters can be answered
very simply using the throttle control (stick) on the transmitter.
Start by leaving the stick at centre: move the stick to the full-throttle
position to answer "YES" to a parameter, and to the idle position for
a "NO".

After five seconds in the desired parameter position the controller
carries out the re-programming and the LED flashes at a very high
rate. At this point move the throttle stick back to centre to inform the
controller that you are ready to program the next parameter. The
controller now queries the parameters for the next programming
stage.
Programming the speed controller
The software of the MULTIcont BL-27/37 has been developed to
make it impossible to enter programming mode by mistake. This
does mean that initially it seems to take a very long time to reach
programming mode, but this simply reflects the importance for your
own safety of preventing the accidental selection of programming
mode while you are preparing to fly, or even during a flight. Please
follow the steps described below to switch to programming mode:

MULTI
NSURING THAT THE
The very first time you use the MULTIcont BL-27/37, i.e. before you
attempt to alter the programming, it is essential to check that the
controller is capable of working with your radio control system,
because re-programming will be completely impossible otherwise.
Therefore you should start by following steps 1 - 6 as described in
Section 7.0 above. If everything works as described, you can safely
move on to the programming procedure. If not, refer to Section 9.0
covering error detection and elimination.

ROGRAMMING THE
The programming procedure:
Disconnect the flight battery from the speed controller.
Move the throttle stick to
- full-throttle -
Re-connect the flight battery to the MULTIcont BL-27/37.
After two seconds you will hear a single beep, and the LED
flashes once.
The MULTIcont BL-27/37 responds with: flash - pause
Now move the throttle stick to the
- centre position -
After two seconds you hear another short beep from the
MULTIcont BL-27/37, and the LED flashes twice.
The MULTIcont BL-27/37 responds with: flash - flash - pause
Now move the throttle stick back to
- full-throttle -
After two seconds you hear another beep from the MULTIcont
BL-27/37 and the LED flashes three times.
The MULTIcont BL-27/37 responds with: flash - flash - flash - pause
Move the throttle stick again to the
- centre position -.
After two seconds you hear four short beeps, and the LED on the
MULTIcont BL-27/37 flashes twice.
The MULTIcont BL-27/37 responds with: flash - flash - pause
The MULTIcont BL-27/37 is now in programming mode.
Continue with programming the parameters as described in Section
15.0.
Programming parameters of the MULTIcont BL-27/37
Important preliminary note: the transmitter throttle stick is used
to respond to queries by moving forward (full-throttle) for "YES" or
back (idle) for "NO"; it should be left at neutral the remainder of the
time. After two seconds the controller detects its input, and the LED
flashes continuously at a high rate.
Now move the throttle stick back to centre, and the controller
detects that it should move on to the next parameter.
If you only wish to alter a few parameters, you do not need to battle
your way through the whole programming procedure.
