8. Move the wheel to the rear until the rim is on a level
with the bead breaker blade.
9. Actuate the pedal for the unseating unit to move the
bead breaker blade towards the tire bead.

5.1.2 Removal
WARNING - Risk of hand injuries from clam-
ping jaws
There is a danger of the hands being crushed
whilst fixing the rim with the clamping jaws.

Never reach between the tire and the rim.
1. Press the locking knob to release the extending
mast.
2. Press the mounting column pedal to move the moun-
ting column to the rear.

Move the clamping jaws outwards with the clamping
jaw pedal to clamp the rim on the outside.

The measurement scales on the clamping plate
indicate the approximate rim diameter. The rim can
thus be fitted in position without having to move the
clamping jaws again.

For clamping on outside: Set the mark (A) on the
clamping jaws to the rim diameter dimension.

3. Position the wheel on the clamping plate.
4. Firmly press down the rim by hand and briefly actua-
te the clamping jaw pedal to clamp the rim.
