Telemetry protocol
If telemetry cameras are being used, the camera will need to be configured to the correct telemetry signalling method. The
telemetry options available are:
None
Telemetry not installed.
BBV
For use with BBV style coaxial telemetry receivers or dome interface RX100.
Pelco
For use with Pelco Spectra domes (coaxial).
DR4+/DTMF
For use with Dedicated Micros telemetry, c-bus or DTMF. Note the latter is connected to the System Sprite
via the advance cti adapter.
Camera video input
Note: This menu option only appears if the selected camera has not been detected.
The System Sprite has an automatic camera detect (ACD) function, which can determine if a camera has been added or removed
from the system. When a camera fails or is disconnected from the multiplexer, a camera fail alarm is triggered, and an onscreen
"FAIL" message will be provided on the main monitor when that camera is selected or displayed. The associated camera
indicator will flash on the System Controller keyboard.
To remove the camera fail alarm, select 'Disconnected' from the options.
As soon as the camera signal is re-connected, the System Sprite will automatically detect it and update its status to 'detected' and
remove all camera fail indications.
