Viewing the System Status
If an alarmed camera, or a camera fail is detected the first menu screen
displayed when accessing the Menu System will be the Status
information page. (shown upper right)
The system status can be viewed at any time during
alarm or camera fail periods by pressing the
key.
The example shown upper right shows an alarm on camera 5 and
camera fail on camera 11.
Viewing the Alarm log
The Alarm log (shown lower right) can be used to view
the previous 100-alarm history log. These can be either
ALARM01 – ALARM16 (individual alarm cameras), Panic Alarm,
Global Alarm, or Tape out alarm. Each alarm is logged with a time,
date set (ON) or reset (OFF) reference.
To remove the Alarm log from the screen, press and hold the
key.
Selecting another unit to control
Individual System Sprite selection and control in
multiple networked unit applications is carried out using
the "
" key. To select another unit:
UNIT SELECT
1. Press the
key, the currently selected unit number
UNIT SELECT
will flash on the corresponding camera key, i.e. Unit 2 selected,
camera 2 will flash.
2. Press the camera key of the corresponding unit number, the camera LED will flash quickly until the unit is logged on. The
selected multiplexer is now under control. Should audible 'beeps' be heard whilst attempting to operate the keyboard, the
log on process has not been successful and should be repeated.
