Safety instructions

 Important note:
Please read and follow this instruction manual carefully step by step. It
should be available at all times, especially to anyone who wants to use
this device. Therefore, this instruction manual should be kept near the
device.
The area in which the device is installed must comply with the relevant
electrical regulations.
The instrument is earthed. When replacing the original AC plug, ensure
that the earth conductor is connected to the new plug!
The electrical connection must be protected by a series-connected fuse
with at least 15 A (max. 16 A).
The connection to the power supply and the water connection must be
made in such a way that there is no danger from dripping water.
Caution:
Please comply with all safety and accident-prevention regulations
applicable to laboratory work. Please wear protective clothing, goggles
and protective gloves when operating this apparatus.
Caution:
Instructed users only may operate the instrument.
Caution:
When connecting the instrument to an AC power outlet, ensure that
your local supply voltage corresponds to the specifications indicated
on the instrument.
Caution:
The On/Off switch does not disconnect the instrument from the power
source. Remove the plug from the AC power outlet to disconnect the
instrument from the mains supply entirely.
Only set up the device on a solid, level surface.
Only use the device in a dry environment; do not use it in an explosive
atmosphere.
If you want to move the device to another location, never hold it at the
water level tube at the side, but at the condenser body and the lower
part only.
