4.3- Adjust the length of the cardan

For following procedures, the tractor should
be turned off and the key out of ignition.

1- Coupling to the tractor

a) With both hands, place the end of the cardan in the
PTO.
b) Press the buttons (1) and push the cardan until the
buttons (1) return to starting position, that is, to complete
the locking.
c) Engage the chain (2) of the protection of the cardan in
some point of the tractor.
Fix the chain of the other end of the cardan in some point
of the forage too.
d) Whenever you couple the forage, move the drawbar
to one side and lock it with the respective pins. The
objective is to avoid interference with the cardan
drawbar.
If in doubt, consult the tractor's manual.
e) Engage the forage in the three points of the tractor
and connect the cardan shaft to the PTO.
f) Adjust the side stabilizers (X) so that the forage is
centered in relation to the tractor and with little freedom
of side oscillation.
Through the arm of the third point, adjust the leveling
longitudinal of the forage.
Also adjust the cross leveling through the arms
intermediaries (Y)
