With the machine supported on the floor, check the
angle of the cardan, the maximum allowed for the
cardan in motion is 30º.

If the angle exceeds 30º, the forage must be supported
on a support
2- Adjust the length of the cardan
On the occasion of the first coupling, make sure the
cardan drive is appropriate length.
Step 1: Removing the protection of the cardan
a) Force the cover (3) down, pressing simultaneously
the three locks (4) inside. Repeat the procedure on the
cover of another tip.
b) Remove the locking ring (5) at both ends, to liberate
one parts of the tube.
c) Pull one end of the driveshaft and remove the cover
(6) of the tube.

d) Replace the end of the cardan removed.
Step 2: Checking the length

e) Disengage the cardan shaft of the PTO and remove
the front end, that is, the bar (8).
f) Reconnect the end (8) to the shaft of the TDP and join
the party (7 and 8) the cardan side by side.

g) Check if exists a minimum clearance of 2 to 3 cm at
each end according to the figure.
h) If clearance is less than the above, mark and cut the
tube (7), bar (8) and the protective tube (6) in the same

I)If the clearance is correct, assembly the driveshaft and
the protections in the reverse order to disassembly.
