6- Operation

6.1- Forage chopper speed

For a good performance of the forage chopper it is
necessary follow the speed table on this manual.
If the forage chopper be being drived by the PTO,
accelerate the tractor's engine so that the PTO is 540
rpm.
Refer to the Operator's Manual
Do not operate the machine abruptly, turn the
PTO with the tractor in low gear and
accelerate gradually.
The abrupt activation of the machine can
cause breakage of parts and ejection Feeding
nozzle by the output or other harmful damage
to the equipment.

6.2- Forage chopper feeding

Put the product on feeding nozzle on continuous way as
possible and in quantity compatible with the machine
and feeding nozzle capacity. Preferentially the new
bundle must be placed over the previous one, so the
machine has been more uniform amount of product
coming in. This way it will always make a uniform pricked
and in the chosen size.

6.3- Upper bearing pressure

The upper feeding bearing is equipped with springs to
make pressure on the product introduced in the machine
and this way to do uniform pricked.
When the springs lose pressure, change the tightener
pin right above the hole.
If necessary to change the springs, change the pair of
springs to maintain constant the pressure of the superior
rolls.
