Functional description BBF10
The BBF10 fills Bag-in-Box bags, which are introduced one at a time from the front into the bag
holder (35). The swivel arm (33) fixes the Bag-in-Box bags at the bag opening in the filling position.
After fixing the bags, the filling unit (3) moves down once and up again, to remove the cover tap of
the Bag-in-Box with the cover gripper (32). Then the swivel block (31) moves left and the filling unit
(3) moves down to bring the filler valve (34) to the bag opening and therefore into the filling
position. Now a vacuum is introduced to the filler valve (34), to begin the filling process of the Bag-
in-Box bag. The filler valve (34) opens and the filling process begins. During this, the liquid is
pumped from the buffer tank into the Bag-in-Box bag by the pump situated under the removable
back cover. The filler level meter measures the through-flow and stops the filling process when
reaching the preset filling amount (e.g. 5 l). Now the filling unit (3) moves up and the swivel block
(31) moves to the right, to then press the cover tap onto the Bag-in-Box bag. Following this
process, the Bag-in-Box bag is released forward by the swivel arm (33) and can be removed.
Display and operating elements can be used to adjust, among others, the individual filling programs
(see Chapter 8 Operation).
