Taking into operation
8.3.1
Start-up after a scheduled shut-down
Before any start-up or after longer periods of decommissioning of the machine, the following
procedure must be followed:
-
Check general condition.
-
Ensure all safety equipment is operational.
-
Ensure all safety devices are correctly fitted.
-
Ensure that the necessary servicing (see Maintenance) has been carried out.
Before you can take the BBF10 or BBF14 into operation, you will require the following:
-
CEE socket 16 A fused 3 x 16 A
-
Pressurised air 6 bar
-
Buffer tank
For commissioning, follow this procedure:
-
Connect the pressurised air supply with 6 bar to the pressurised air connection of the service
unit (13) or (28). Adjust the pressure regulator of the service unit to 6 bar.
-
Close the drainage tap of the pump (14) or (29).
-
Connect the buffer tank to the inflow filler medium (4) or (19) and to the outflow circulation (5) or
(6) using suitable hoses with NW 25 screwed connections.
-
If present, connect the level switch of the buffer tank to the level switch box (6) or (21). If the
buffer tank does not feature a level switch, ensure that the blind plug is inserted.
-
Plug in the mains plug into the CEE socket.
-
Switch on the BBF using the main switch (6) or (21).
-
Ensure that the selector Cleaning (38) is set to the left.
-
Wait a moment until the machine has started up. Pull the EMERGENCY-OFF SWITCH (40)
towards you if it is locked and press the button Unlock EMERGENCY-OFF SWITCH (41).
-
On the operator display (24), press the button START on the start-up screen.
-
On the operator display (24), press the button Base position. The machine is now ready to
operate.
