10 GAUGE CALIBRATION

Gauges are precise measuring devices, and they are factory calibrated for its specific canister.
Moving gauges from one canister to another will cause inaccurate dispenses, if the calibration is
not re-set.
DO NOT MOVE THE GAUGES FROM THEIR ORIGINAL CANISTER.
To install NEW Gauges for the first time the following instructions must be followed closely.

Tools required:

Cross head and flat head screwdriver
Feeler Gauge (Refer to the table below for the required size for your specific Smart Gauge
installation)
1)
Press the Piston Rod Handle Top downwards.
2)
Ensure that the Smart Gauge is set at '0'.
3)
Remove the Calibration Screw from the Gauge. Use the cross head screwdriver (Ref. # 12).
Do not discard the Calibration Screw, as it will be used again.
4)
Following this, remove the Calibration Stud from the Piston Handle (Ref. # 13).
5)
Push the 'Push Button Locking Bar' and carefully lower the gauge down through the Piston
Handle until it comes to rest fully.
Never let the Gauge fall freely as this will damage the Gauge and affect the
accuracy.
6)
Release the 'Push Button Locking Bar' and slide the Gauge upwards until the Lock Bar Pins
(located at the back of the gauge) slot into the first set of locking holes on the Gauge.
7)
Insert the flat head screwdriver through the opening on the top of the Piston Rod Handle and
turn the Piston Rod until the '0' mark on the decal lines up with the window at the top of the
Piston Handle.
8)
Screw the Calibration stud tightly into the Piston Handle.
