13 REPLACING PUMP ASSEMBLY
1)
Locate the Canister which requires Pump Assembly replacement at the front of the machine
and lock the Carousel Index Lever.
2)
Press the Pump down fully to ensure all colorant has been removed, and turn the Valve
Handle to the Dispense position to close off the Canister.
3)
Carefully remove the Pump Cylinder assembly, firstly by removing the M4 Sems Nut and Bolt
found at the back of the of the End Cap Housing. Next undo the Pump Nut which connects the
Pump Assembly to the Valve Housing using an 32mm spanner.
Some colorant may be present however so be careful not to splash when removing
the parts.
4)
Dispose of the removed Pump assembly in a responsible fashion.
5)
Mount the new Pump Assembly by placing on top of the valve housing and fastening the
Pump Nut, ensuring the new Pump assembly and the internal parts are free from debris and
grit.
6)
Next insert the M4 Sems screw and fasten with the M4 Nylock Nut at the back of the End Cap
Housing.
7)
Work the Pump Piston and Canister Handle to ensure in working order.
8)
Prime the Assembly as per instructions on chapter 4.
