11 AGITATION

Agitation inside the dispenser canisters can be manual or automatic.
The Agitation selector switch has three positions:
Position 1 - Manual (permanently ON)
Position 0 - ON
Position 2 - Automatic (works according to the times set on the timer, see chapter 11.2)

11.1 Manual agitation

By selecting the manual position 1 on the Agitation selector switch found on the right of the
floor stand beneath the canisters (Figure 11-1), the operator can manually turn on and off the
agitation as he/ she feels necessary.

It may be useful to use the manual agitation directly after colorant has been added to the
canister.
However, it is recommended that automatic agitation be set as to ensure agitation does not get
forgotten.

11.2 Automatic agitation

Automatic agitation is the recommended of the two options as the regular method of agitation.
The timer which is located at the back right of the floor stand (Figure 11-2) controls the frequency
of the agitation and is controlled as explained below.
