Using the Repeat Play
You can set the player to repeat individual tracks on CDs or
Video CDs, Super Audio CDs, chapters or titles on DVD discs, or
the whole disc. It's also possible to loop a section of a disc.
You can't use any repeat mode or looped play with a Video CD
playing in PBC mode.
Note
• Some discs don't allow the Repeat function.
1 Press REPEAT during playback to select a repeat mode.
Each press switches the repeat mode:
• CHAPTER REPEAT
• TITLE REPEAT
• OFF
• REPEAT ONE
• REPEAT ALL
• REPEAT OFF
• DISC (default)
• FOLDER
• SINGLE REPEAT
• FOLDER REPEAT
• DISC REPEAT
Note
• Folder
The current folder will be played once.
• Disc
The disc will be played once.
2 To return to normal play, press REPEAT again, then select off.
Looping a section of a disc
1 Press A-B once at the start of the section you want to repeat,
then again at the end.
Playback immediately jumps back to the start point and plays the loop
round and round.
• On a DVD disc, the start and end points of the loop must be in the
same title/group.
• On Video CD/CD/Super Audio CD, the start and end points of the
loop must be in the same track.
2 To resume normal playback, press A-B again.
Note
• There may be a slightly difference between point A and the location
where playback actually resumes depend on the disc.
