47. Using trim stick C­4755 or equivalent, pry around the
perimeter of the upper trim panel (1) to disengage the
retaining clips and remove the trim panel.
NOTE: After removing the retainers (1) there are re­
taining tabs that need to be released for removing the
lightbar.
48. Remove the four retainers (1) holding the lightbar (2)
to the liftgate.
49. Using a trim stick or equivalent, release the lightbar
from the retaining clips.
50. Disconnect the switch and lamp electrical harness
connectors (1, 2) from the lightbar (4) as necessary.
51. Disconnect the liftgate release cable (3) from the light­
bar/handle and discard the lightbar.
