USE FOR WHICH THE MACHINE IS

INTENDED
The S/AAR pressing machines are industrial machines
021
intended for professional use, and therefore require
suitably trained operators.
The machine was designed in consideration of the
safety requirements of operators, service engineers
and the working environment.
More particularly, the machine is in conformity with
"Machinery Directives" (ECC Directives 89/392 and
subsequent amendments and/or additions).
The machine should be installed in an environment
with the following characteristics:
Temperature between +5°and +50°C;
Relative humidity not more than 95%;
Altitude not more than 1000 mtrs above sea level;
Dust-free;
Free of gas and/or corrosive/inflammable vapors.
In the area surrounding the machine, there should not
be:
any inflammable material;
any heat source.
The machine can emit the following gas or vapors:
steam.

3.1 IDENTIFICATION DATA
The identification data are indicated on a plate fitted to
the machine.
The following details are indicated on the machine plate:
Design pressure (PS) 6,2 bar.

Design temperature (TS) 200° C.

In any communication with the manufacturer or the
service centers, always quote the model and the serial
number.

The machine is self contained and automatic, with a
universal ironing table, vacuum action and electric
heated. It is equipped with an electric steam generator
with automatic feed and complete with steam iron. It is
easy to install and simple to operate; the ideal machine
for small to medium pressing requirements, such as
drycleaning shops, garment factories, and generally, in
hotels, hospitals, guest-houses etc.

The machine is normally despatched in a carton
packing crate on wooden pallet, fixed in such a way
that it cannot move.
LIFTING OF THE MACHINE
For the installation of the machine, it is necessary to
arrange a lifting device able to lift the loads indicated at
point 3.2.
After unloading the machine, remove the carton
packing, and position the machine on a perfectly flat
surface in a working environment with the following
characteristics:
the floor must be able to bear the weight of the
machine;
the walls must be at least 0.5 Mtrs at the sides and
1 mtr at the back, away from the machine;
it must be sufficiently aired; the installation of a
conditioning system to be activated during use of
the machine is recommended.
It is recommended to check the condition and quality of
the machine.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
ATTENTION: If the line to which the machine is
connected is a system of the type "TN-C" (neutral
also acts as a protective conductor, there fore the
neutral and protective functions are combined in a
single conductor called PEN), the A connection
should be made on the terminal box between the N
