regulating the pressure switch, it is imperative that
you check the pressure on the pressure gauge
(tav.07-ref.2).
The pressure switch (tav.07-ref.1) is faulty: replace.
7.6 THE SAFETY VALVE OPENS
Should the safety valve (tav.07-ref.4) open and start to
let steam out, it is necessary to immediately disactivate
the boiler elements (tav.01-ref.5) and switch off the
machine (tav.01-ref.10)
When pressure in the boiler has gone down and the
machine has cooled down, make sure that the various
components inside the machine are not wet; then start-
up the boiler again, regulating the pressure switch (see
point 7.5) and bear in mind that working pressure is 3
bar and that the safety valve opens at 5,6 bar.
If the pressure switch is faulty, replace it.
7.7 THE PUMP DOES NOT START
The level control (tav.10÷10B-ref.5) is faulty: replace
the entire component.
The electric circuit of the pump is cutout: check and
re-connect.
The electric winding of the pump is cutout: if
possible re-connect or re-wind.
The pump is blocked: unblock by using a
screwdriver on the rear of the motor on the cooling
fan side.
7.8
THE PUMP TURNS BUT NO WATER GOES INTO
THE BOILER
The water solenoid valve (tav.08-ref.3) is faulty:
replace.
There is air in the pump fan housing: partially
unscrew the cap positioned near the water outlet
pipe, let out all the air and screw up again.
The check valve (tav.08-ref.2) is blocked: some
light taps on the valve can re-establish functioning,
if this is not sufficient dismantle and clean.
7.9 THE IRON DOES NOT HEAT UP
The element (tav.11-ref.2) is burnt out: replace.
The thermostat (tav.11-ref.3) is faulty: replace.
The feed socket (tav.11-ref.10) is faulty: replace.
The electric circuit is cut out: check and re-connect.
7.10 THE IRON OVERHEATS
The thermostat (tav.11-ref.3) is set at a too high
temperature: lower the temperature by turning the
regulating knob in the anti-clockwise direction
(tav.11-ref.4).
The thermostat is faulty: replace.
7.11 THE IRON EMITS VERY HUMID STEAM
The water level in the boiler is too high: empty the
boiler nd proceed to start up again. If the fault
persists, act according to point 7.1.
The iron is not heating up sufficiently: act according
to point 7.9.
7.12 THE IRON DOES NOT EMIT STEAM

The steam solenoid valve (tav.07-ref.3) or only the
coil (tav.09-ref.3) is faulty: replace the defective
part.
The iron microswitch (tav.11-ref.5) is faulty: replace.
7.13 THE VACUUM DOES NOT START
The vacuum motor is burnt-out (tav.06-ref.11):
replace or re-wind.
Fuses burnt: replace.
Contactor coil (tav.10÷10B-ref.6) burnt: replace.
The pedal microswitch (tav.06-ref.9) is faulty:
replace.
7.14 THE VACUUM TURNS BUT VACUUM IS INSUFFICIENT
The table padding (tav.05-ref.3) is blocked up:
replace.
The vacuum fan (tav.06-ref.10) is dirty: clean.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE DISMANTLING
