When pressure on the pressure gauge has descended
below 2,5 bar, the boiler element will automatically be
activated.
Switch on the iron switch (ref.7/9), checking that the
thermostat control knob is on the correct position for
the type of fabric to be finished.

≈ 110°C
●●
≈ 150°C
●●● ≈ 170°C
Check that the table element thermosat is positioned at
around 70/80°C or at the required temperature.
WARNING
When the machine is first installed, it is necessary to
start up the boiler at least twice, allowing it to heat up
and then emptying it.
This should be done in order to clean the interior of
the boiler and eliminate any impurities which may have
been deposited during construction.
To proceed with the draining of the boiler, act as
follows:
disactivate the boiler (ref.5);
only open the drain valve (ref.12) when boiler
pressure has descended below 0,5 bar;
to completely empty the boiler, turn on the iron
switch (ref.7/9) and keep the iron button pressed
so that air is let in through the steam hose and
allows any water to be expelled.
5.3 CONTROL OF IRON TEMPERATURE
Warning: Never switch the iron on with the
thermostat at maximum position.
The ideal iron temperature of the iron should be carried
out by testing the iron on a white cloth.
The iron should be kept on the cloth for about one
minute. If the cloth goes yellow, turn the thermostat
regulation knob in the anti-clockwise direction. The test
should be repeated until the cloth stays white.
Hold the iron up and push the micro switch repeatedly
to check that no water is issued together with the
steam.
If this is not the case, wait a few minutes until the iron
has sufficiently heated up.
If necessary, raise the temperature by turning the
thermostat knob in the clockwise direction.
5.4
STEAM ISSUE REGULATION
Steam issue is regulated by us when the machine is
tested.
Should a different rate of flow be required, using a
screwdriver turn the steam positioned on the iron
solenoid valve (tav.07-ref.3) forwards or backwards as
required.
5.5 VACUUM ON ADJUSTABLE ARM
Should the machine be equipped with arm, vacuum
action can be obtained on the arm by gently pulling this
towards the operator.
5.6 VACUUM ON THE TABLE
To activate vacuum on the table press the pedal
tav.01-ref.18.

5.7 END OF DAILY OPERATION
At the end of the working day, remember to do the
following:
close the water supply;
switch off the irons (ref.7 and ref.9);
disconnect the machine by putting the main switch
(tav.01-ref.10) on the "O" position.
MAINTENANCE
6
6.1 MAINTENANCE CONDITIONS
Ordinary and extraordinary maintenance must always
be carried out in safe conditions.
For maintenance which does not require the machine
to be active, the following instructions must be
complied with:
put the main switch (tav.01-ref.10) on the "O"
position;
block the switch in this position by means of a lock,
making use of the existing holes;
always carry the lock key on your person, above all
when the back of the machine is being worked on.
If it is necessary to put the machine temporarily out of
order, then it must be fully disconnected from the main
supply.
6.2
SAFETY MEASURES TO BE ADOPTED IN
MAINTENANCE
It should be remembered that pressure remains in the
steam system even when the machine has stopped;
therefore any intervention must be preceded by the
discharging of any remaining pressure.
It should also be remembered that all parts in contact
with steam stay hot even after the machine has
stopped; therefore prior to any intervention it is
necessary to check that the hot surfaces have cooled
down.
6.3
PIPES AND CONNECTIONS
Periodically check that all connections are tightly
clamped and that pipes in general do not leak air or
steam.
6.4 WATER FILTER
It is raccomended that the water inlet filter (tav.08-ref.5)
be cleaned once a month and if necessary replaced.
6.5
CLEANING OF THE BOILER
The boiler should be cleaned every six months.
To carry out this operation dismantle the element (tav.
07-ref.8), remove all the calcareous deposits from the
boiler body, and above all the elements.
Check that the boiler drain hole is not obstructed and if
necessary put this right.
6.6 CLEANING OF THE LEVEL PROBE
For the correct operation of the machine, it is strongly
recommended to check the condition of the level probe
(tav.07-ref.12) every six months.
If it should prove to be clean, in future allow a longer
period of time before checking again.
