In order to carry out this operation, remove the front
door (tav.05-ref.9) and then fully unscrew the probe
screw using a CH19 spanner and extract the level
probe.
6.7
BOILER DRAIN
It is advisable to empty water out of the boiler every
week.
Wait for the steam pressure on the pressure gauge to
descend to 0,5 bar and then open the drain tap
(tav.07-ref.17).
After draining, close the tap.
6.8
SAFETY DEVICES
The safety devices installed on the machine are
calibrated by the manufacturer.
The user is not permitted to tamper with these
devices.
6.9
PUMP
The pump does not require any special maintenance.
If the pump has not been active for a long period of
time, check if there is any water in the body and check
that the shaft rotates freely using a screwdriver,
through the fan protection cover.
6.10 TABLE PADDING
Vacuum action depends on the passage of air through
the table padding.
Therefore, every six months or so, when a drop in
vacuum action is observed, the padding should be
replaced.
6.11 VACUUM
Frequently check the vacuum during the first 48
hours of operation paying attention to the
clamping of the bolts.
General maintenance on the vacuum should be
carried out every three months.
Periodically clean the impeller.
6.12 PERIODICAL INSPECTIONS
Every two years, check the condition of the boiler
material for corrosion-make sure that minimum
thicknesses are not lower than:
- surround 4 mm;
- base 3,5 mm.
Every 12 months, check the efficiency of the safety
valve (set pressure 5,6 bar) and of the safety
thermostat (activated at temperature of 180°C).
Should they not function correctly, stop the machine
and call our after sales service.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
7
ATTENTION
All the operations in this section and especially
the one described in paragraph 7.5 must be carried
out by qualified engineers.
7.1 TOO MUCH WATER ENTERS THE BOILER

The level control (tav.10÷10B-ref.5) is faulty:
replace the entire component.
On the level probe rod (tav.07-ref.12) there are
calcium deposit: clear.
7.2 IF WATER DOES NOT ENTER THE BOILER
If the level control is faulty (tav.10÷10B-ref.5), it is
possible that the pump stops sending water to the
boiler, thereby causing overheating of the elements.
To avoid the elements burning out, the machine is
equipped with a probe thermostat (tav.07-ref.11) which
cuts power to the elements when they have reached a
certain temperature; if this occurs, the red warning
lamp (tav.01-ref.2) on the electric panel, comes on.
To re-start the boiler, first of all let it cool down, then
replace the level control, checking the electric circuit
and lastly re-arm the probe thermostat by pressing the
button on the body of the thermostat.
7.3
THE ELEMENTS ARE ACTIVATED BUT THE BOILER
DOES NOT REACH PRESSURE LEVEL
The heating elements (tav.07-ref.8) are cut out
and no power is getting through: replace.
The elements circuit is cutout: check the circuit
and re-connect.
7.4 THE ELEMENTS ARE NOT ACTIVATED
The pressure switch (tav.07-ref.1) is faulty: replace.
The thermal relay switch coil (tav.10÷10B-ref.6) is
burnt out: replace.
The level control (tav.10÷10B-ref.5) is faulty: replace
the entire component.
The electric circuit of the element is cutout: check
the circuit and re-connect.
7.5
THE PRESSURE IN THE BOILER REACHES TOO
HIGH OR TOO LOW VALUES
The pressure switch (tav.07-ref.1) is not correctly
regulated, re-set correct regulation as follows:
- Loosen the regulation screws B and D, turning the
A screw anti-clockwise.
- Regulate working pressure, indicated in scale C, at
3 bar, turning the B screw (clockwise to increase
and anti-clockwise to decrease).
- Regulate pressure differential, indicated in scale E,
at 0.5 bar, turning the D screw (anti-clockwise to
increase and clockwise to increase).
- Block the regulation screws B and D, turning the A
screw clockwise.
These regulations censure that pressure inside the
boiler varies from a minimum of 2,5 to a maximum
of 3 bar. When you start up the boiler after
