4.1 RECOMMENDATIONS BEFORE WASHING
Make sure that:
a) the wall switch is set to on;
b) there is water coming from the mains supply;
c) gate valves (cocks) of the supply water are open;
d) all the filters are correctly positioned;
e) the overflows are inserted properly into their seats;
f) the curtain flaps are positioned correctly;
g) the inspection doors are closed;
h) any wash product containers are full.
I) the tank and boiler thermostats, to be found inside the appliance, have been set
correctly (80-85°C the boiler and 55-60°C the tank);
4.2 FILLING THE BOILER AND TANKS
IMPORTANT: upon installing the appliance, the "first filling" should be
carried out with all the inspection doors closed in order to ensure total filling
of the boiler. This is because the acknowledgement sent to the tank and
boiler heating elements is given exclusively by the pressure switch which
controls the tank level. If this procedure is not complied with, there is the
risk that the boiler heating element will work "dry", with consequent risk of
damaging the whole boiler unit.
a) Switch on the appliance via selector switch A;
b) Wait for the blue indicator light D to come on, showing that the appliance is
ready. This light only comes on when the appliance is full of water and the
temperatures have been reached;
c) Check that the wash tank level after filling is 0.5-1cm below the overflow level.
Tank capacity is about 100 l.
4.3 CHECKS
a) Check that the safety clutch of the flight system is adjusted correctly (it should
be possible to stop the racks from moving forwards just using your hands). A
complete set of racks loaded with plates should not cause slipping;
b) Check correct operation of the economisers, which should stop the water
supply when the rack comes out;
c) If a wash product dispenser is installed, check that it is working properly;
d) Check correct operation of the limit switch, which should stop forward
movement when the rack reaches the end of the working surface.
