5.1- Important recommendations
Use good quality fertilizers and in good conditions. Wet or clotted product will not
be distributed properly.
For better spreading, it is recommended to do this on windless days.
After application, at the end of each day, it is recommended to remove the remaining
product from the reservoir, wash the machine with water and dry it.
Lubricate the flow regulating discs with diesel oil, mineral oil and/or defoamer;
Avoid driving the Spreader loaded for long distances and do not place filled bags
over the filled fertilizer, compacting the product inside the reservoir will make it
difficult to distribute.
Check if the cardan shaft is securely locked in the machine and tractor and with the
protection fitted. The protection prevents contact with the movable parts of the
cardan shaft. Do not switch the machine on without protection.
Make sure that the area around the machine is checked and cleaned before start the
spreading. Attention to the area around the machine prevents damage to people
and animals. The lack of attention can result in accidents.
Pay attention and switch off the machine if there are children in the spreading area.
Never let children play with or use the machine.
Always switch on the tractor power take-off at idle, wait for the system to fully run
and then slowly accelerate the tractor until it reaches 540 rpm on the PTO shaft.
Keep 540 rpm at the PTO shaft during the entire operation.
Do not turn the engine on or off with the power take-off activated.
Do not connect the power take-off from the tractor with the Spreader fully lowered,
preventing the cardan shaft from operating at an excessive angle.
Do not exceed the 540 rpm rotation at the power take-off.
Do not attempt to couple carts or any other towing load on the structure of the
Spreader, its structure is not suitable for this purpose!
Always observe the maximum lift load of the hydraulic lift system of the tractor.
Always use ballast on the front axle as indicated in the tractor manual.
