Unboxing the BioTel Care® BGM for the first time
Before we begin, take a moment to go over the contents of your
BioTel Care® BGM kit. Your kit should include:

(battery included)
BioTel Care® BGM Kit does not contain
testing supplies box.
The following supplies are provided separately:

Using your new meter:
Make sure you charge your glucose meter for at least 6 hours
before first use. To charge your glucose meter, use the AC
Charger included in your kit.
Important:
Wait for the meter to finish the boot process to start a test
when it powers on.
You should use the BioTel Care® BGM for:
• Testing Blood Glucose
• Testing only with fresh capillary whole blood samples
You should NOT use the BioTel Care® BGM for:
• The diagnosis of Diabetes
• Testing blood glucose on newborn infants
• Testing of arterial blood
• Testing of venous blood
