8.1. Mounting with fastening bolt
Screw fastening bolt [3-1] in fastening thread [3-2]. Secure with Loctite
270.
• Use fastening bolt to fix the automatic gun to the fastening system of
the spraying system.
• Connect control air to the control air connection [1-10] of the automatic
gun.
• Connect spraying air to the spraying air connection [1-11] of the auto-
matic gun.
• Insert material connection seal [3-3].
• Connect material supply to the material connection [1-13] of the auto-
matic gun.
8.2. Mounting on quick-change fitting
• Insert material connection in nozzle head [4-1].
• Screw spacers [4-2] into nozzle head and gun body.
• Fit automatic gun on quick-change fitting [4-3].
• Put fastening screw [4-4] through quick-change fitting and screw into
the fastening thread of the quick-change fitting [1-9].
• Fix the quick-change fitting to the fastening system of the spraying
system.
• Connect control air to the quick-change fitting.
• Connect spraying air to the quick-change fitting.
• Connect the material supply to the quick-change fitting.
8.3. Usage with material circulation
Notice!
The following connection possibilities are recommended when using the
automatic gun with material circulation.
■ Insert a back-pressure regulator at the material output.
■ The cross-section of the material return pipe must be smaller than the material
feed pipe.
This ensures there is always plenty of material in the fluid tip.
The automatic gun can be used with material circulation. This keeps the
used material in motion so that it does not come to a standstill.
■ Disconnect the automatic gun from the compressed air circuit and the material
supply.
■ Unscrew the dummy plug [5-1] from the nozzle head.
