7. Repeat the exercise with your other leg.

1. Secure the article as shown in the section

2. Stand on a firm surface with your legs hip-
width apart and with your knees slightly bent.
3. Move your right foot backwards and place
the ball of your foot on the floor. Your body
weight is on the front foot.
4. Keep your shoulders down and your pelvis
tipped slightly forwards.
5. Tense your stomach and buttock muscles and
pull your shoulder blades towards your spine.
6. Pull your right leg far back. Keep your upper
body straight and in position.
7. Hold the position briefly and then return your
leg slowly back to the floor. Only the ball of
your foot should touch the ground.
8. Repeat the exercise with your other leg.

5. Shift your body weight onto your right knee
and pull your left knee up at an angle of 90
degrees.
6. Hold this position briefly and then slowly
lower your knee again.
7. Repeat the exercise with your other leg.

2. Stand on a firm surface with your legs hip-
width apart and with your knees slightly bent.

take a step backwards. Lower your back knee
as far as possible. Make sure you do not
