Do not use in the presence of combustible or explosive materi-
als!
Never lay this product on the patient or in his/her direct vicinity.
Protect this product from any form of mechanical damage! Do
not throw! Do not use force! If there is a cable, and unless stated
otherwise, do not kink it or wrap it around the accompanying
product!
If subjected to substantial loads, the jaws will become hot. In or-
der to prevent undesirable coagulations do not touch any tissue
with the jaws accidentally.
To ensure the proper function of the instrument, the instrument
jaws must be cleaned at regular intervals (e.g. in breaks during
use) to remove any significant contamination.
Erbe recommends that the product should not be reprocessed
after use. Reprocessing can affect the material properties and/
or function of the product such that use in accordance with the
intended use is no longer possible. Risks include:
• Components/connections that are damaged by high tem-
peratures (e.g. in the autoclave).
• Function-relevant insulation that is corroded by acidic or al-
kaline cleaning agents.
• Electronic components not suitable for reprocessing with liq-
uids.
• Components that are inaccessible due to their design (e.g.
open gaps, scratches, chambers).
Erbe Elektromedizin expressly warns against modifying the
product. Any modification exempts Erbe Elektromedizin from
any and all liability.
