6.10 Grasping tissue

1. Use the rotary element to rotate the instrument jaws into the
required position.
2. Advance the instrument jaws onto the tissue to be coagulat-
ed. Make sure that the instrument jaws fully grasp the vessel
to be separated. Do not touch or grab any clamps or clips.
3. Close the hand trigger to the lock-in position. Then relax
your grip hand again.
WARNING! Turning the instrument or pulling strongly can dam-
age the grasped tissue. Risk of bleeding.
• Move or turn the instrument with the grasped tissue as little
and as carefully as possible.
