on this product. Observe these safety instructions during handling, installation, operation, maintenance, service
and repair of this product. These safety instructions are a supplementary document, and all safety instructions
will appear again in the relevant sections of the installation and operating instructions. Keep these safety
instructions at the installation site for future reference.
General information
Read this document before you install the product. Installation and operation must comply with local
regulations and accepted codes of good practice.
Intended use
The cellular module is intended to support data transmission between a cellular network and a Grundfos
product.
RF safety
Installers and end users must be provided with these installation and operating instructions and oper-
ating conditions for satisfying RF exposure compliance.
The antenna used for the product in which the CIM module is fitted must be installed to provide a separation
distance of at least 20 cm from persons and must not be co-located or operated in conjunction with any other
antenna or transmitter.
Interference of other electronic equipment may occur if the equipment is inadequately protected.
Radio frequency radiation exposure information (for Canada and US only)
This equipment complies with FCC and ISED radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment.
This equipment must be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20 cm (0.66 feet) between the
radiator and your body.
This transmitter must not be co-located or operated in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.
