Complete tow bar set
The accessories are intended for professional fitting. ŠKODA AUTO recommends that they are
fitted by a contractual partner.
Please note: The figures in these instructions provide
general fitting information. The installation positions
shown in these figures may differ slightly from the
installation positions for the vehicle you are working on.
The instructions describe and illustrate how to fit the
tow bar for vehicles with fixed rear seats. The fitting
procedure for vehicles with Varioflex rear seats is identi-
cal.
The wiring harnesses for the tow bar must be careful-
ly routed and correctly positioned before they can be
secured with cable ties to the vehicle's existing electrical
installation, as shown in the relevant figures.
The complete tow bar set with order no. 57A 092 160D is intended for left- and
right-hand drive ŠKODA KAROQ (NU) vehicles set up to accommodate a tow
bar/not set up to accommodate a tow bar as part of the equipment specifica-
tion.
This tow bar set is intended for vehicles in the Czech Republic and for vehicles
exported to all countries except Australia.
Please note: If you intend to fit the version of the tow bar and
electrical installation with two connectors, order the wiring harness
with earth lead from the ŠKODA Original Accessories range using
order no. 57A 971 658F.
There are no fitting instructions included with this wiring harness. To
fit this wiring harness, proceed in accordance with the instructions
provided in this manual.
Applies only to vehicles not set up to accommodate a tow bar
Please note: The tow bar cannot be fitted to vehicles with a heated
steering wheel.
For vehicles that are not set up to accommodate a tow bar as part of
the equipment specification, order the wiring harness for vehicles
not set up to accommodate a tow bar from the ŠKODA Original Acces-
sories range using order no. 57A 971 658.
