1. Video recorder
Your television set will be switched on and off for the selected
programme.
The majority of the remote control's functions cannot be used so
as to prevent inadvertent cancellation of the recording.
2. Channel change
If your TV set is in normal mode, it will switch to the programmed
channel when the set time is reached. In contrast to the video
recorder setting, the television's controls can be operated without
restriction and the TV set will not be switched off at the end of
the programme.
Storing the data in memory
> After you have fi nished programming, press the green Accept
function button to store the data in memory.
Changing the timer programming
> To change an existing timer setting, mark it using the up/
down arrow buttons. If you press the green Change function
button, you can access the settings for the marked timer and
change them as described earlier in the „Programming the
timer manually" section.
Deleting a programmed timer
> To delete an existing timer setting, mark it using the up/down
arrow buttons.
> Press the red Delete function button.
The following message appears: Really delete this timer?
> Use the left/right arrow buttons to mark the Yes item.
> To delete the timer, confi rm with OK.
> Return to normal mode by pressing the Back button.

Caution!!!
Make sure the TV set has imported the clock time. If it has not, leave
your TV set switched on and set to the ZDF channel for around 30
seconds so that it can import the clock time.
During timer mode

Cancelling timer mode
If the television has activated the timer from standby mode, press
the On/Standby button to switch on the TV screen too.
> Press one of the buttons on the numerical keypad. The Stop
timer mode? query appears.
> Use the right/left arrow buttons to mark the Yes fi eld.
> Confi rm with the OK button.
6.12.7.3 SFI programme overview
The SFI programme overview function allows you to display a
screen containing all the day's programmes for a particular channel.
Proceed as follows:
> Press the „SFI(EPG)" button.
The „Now" SFI screen appears.
> Press the yellow Program function button. The day's overview
now appears for the set channel.
> You can use the up/down arrow buttons to move the marker
to the desired programme or time. The days of the week are
displayed at the bottom edge of the screen. These fi elds
are highlighted as soon as information is available for the
corresponding day.
> To display the programme schedule for a particular day, use the
numerical keypad to enter the number that corresponds to that
day of the week.
Displaying the SFI overview for other channels
> Press the blue Program function button. A list containing the
favourite channels appears in addition.
> You can now mark the desired channel using the arrow
buttons.
> You can display the SFI overview for the marked channel by
pressing the OK button.
6.12.7.4 Overview according to programme type/genre
If you are interested in a particular programme type you can display
the programme information according to certain genres e.g. fi lm,
news, etc.
> Press the SFI(EPG) button.
The „Now" SFI screen appears.
> Use the blue Genre function button to open a window with the
available programme types
> Use the up/down arrow buttons to select the desired
programme type and confi rm with OK.
An overview now appears only containing programmes matching
the selected programme type.
> You can use the up/down arrow buttons to move the marker to
