7.4.4 SFI channel (DVB-S)

If the parameters of the data channel used for downloading the SFI
list via satellite have changed you can correct them in this menu. You
can obtain the current transponder data from your dealer. Normally
you should not make any changes in this menu.
> Press the OK button to open the SFI channel (DVB-S)
submenu.

7.4.5 SFI channel (DVB-C/T)

If the data channel used for downloading the SFI list via cable or
terrestrial has changed, you can correct it in this menu. You can fi nd
out the current data channel from your dealer. Normally you do not
need to change this.
> Press the OK button to open the SFI channel (DVB-C/T)
submenu.
Your TV set now carries out a test to fi nd out on which channel
the data channel is being transmitted and, if the channel is
available, adds it to the settings. You can also set the channel
manually.
> To do so, press the OK button. A list of the available channels
appears.
> Use the arrow buttons to set the channel from which the SFI
data can be downloaded and confi rm with OK.
> After you have confi gured the Parental control menu as desired,
return to normal mode by pressing the Menu button.

7.5 Antenna settings

7.5.1 DVB-S

> Open the Settings menu as described in Section 7.
> Use the up/down arrow buttons to mark the Antenna settings
(DVB-S) item.
> Confi rm with OK.
The Antenna settings (DVB-S) menu appears.

7.5.1.1 Switching DiSEqC on/off

DiSEqC (Digital Satellite Equipment Control) is a digital control
signal for controlling DiSEqC-compatible components over the
antenna cable. If your external unit is equipped with DiSEqC
components, you must enable DiSEqC control:
> Use the right/left arrow buttons to switch DiSEqC On or Off in
this menu item.
Since only one LNB can be addressed when DiSEqC control is
disabled, the menu is limited to the confi guration of one LNB.
If you disable DiSEqC, the system also asks you whether you
would like to delete the programs of DiSEqC positions 2 to 4.
> Use the right/left arrow buttons to select Yes or No and
confi rm with OK.

7.5.1.2 Setting the switching matrix

The four switching criteria of the DiSEqC control system are listed
in the antenna settings (DVB-S) menu. Your TV set has been pre-
programmed so that ASTRA is received at switch position A/A and
Eutelsat at switch position B/A of a multiswitch.
If the switching matrix of your receiving installation is structured

the television's confi guration to suit your receiving installation as
follows.
> Use the arrow buttons to select the DiSEqC switch position (1-
4) that you want to assign a satellite to (e.g. A/B 3 No satellite)
by marking this item.
> Press the OK button.
A selection screen containing various satellites appears.
> Use the up/down arrow buttons to mark the desired satellite.
You can use the up/down arrow buttons to move the marker
up or down one line at a time and the left/right arrow buttons to
switch to the next or previous page.
If the satellite that you want is not available in the list, please
select a reserve location indicated by User 1 to User 12.
> Confi rm with OK. The marked satellite will be inserted in the
previously marked position.
Edit this menu as described until the details correspond with
those of your receiving unit. Set No satellite for the switching
criteria that you do not need.

7.5.1.3 Further settings / LNB properties

Once you have confi gured the switching matrix of your DVB-S
module to suit your receiving installation, you must now check and if
necessary correct the remaining settings for your receiving unit.
> To do so, use the left/right arrow buttons to move the marker
to the Check LNB column.
> Use the up/down arrow buttons to mark the Check LNB fi eld
in the line whose settings you want to check or change.
> Confi rm with OK.
A submenu appears in which you can confi gure the LNB settings
and specify a test transponder.
You can confi gure the following settings:
LNB type
> Use the arrow buttons to mark the LNB type fi eld and confi rm
with OK. A window appears containing the available LNB types.
> Use the up/down arrow buttons to select the LNB type that you
use. You can select Single/Twin LNB, Quatro LNB, DisiCon 1
LNB, DisiCon 2 LNB, DisiCon 4 LNB, C-Band LNB as well as
a User LNB for manually entering the LNB data.
> You can accept the setting by pressing the OK button.
Test transponder
You must only enter details for the following items in this menu if you
want to check a satellite's signal. Please refer to the program lists
published in specialist magazines (e.g. Infosat) or on the Internet to
obtain the necessary data.
Symbol rate
The symbol rate defi nes how much data is transmitted per second.
This can, for example, be 27500 (i.e. 27,500 symbols per second).
> Use the numerical keypad to enter the relevant symbol rate.
Frequency
> Use the numerical keypad to enter a frequency on which digital
programmes are broadcast.
