Drain remaining paint from spray gun and gravity cup, into a suitable container.
Pour the cleaner into the gravity cup, leave it to act for a few seconds and carry out a preliminary wash to remove any
3
excess of residual paint.
Unscrew the air cap (1) by 2 turns, to allow the atomizing air to do the back flush of the cleaner in the paint passages of
4
the gun. Pull the trigger and make sure that the atomizing air enters into the cup. Repeat the operation many times as
necessary. Clean the paint passages and each section of the gun using the supplied brush soaked in compatible cleaner.
Remove the air cap from the gun body and if it is necessary, immerse it in the cleaner to soften the paint residues
encrusted on the air outlet holes. Once extracted it from the cleaning liquid, proceed to blow the air cap holes with
5
compressed air eliminating the residues of softened product, then proceed with an accurate and delicate cleaning of
all the holes with a soft cleaning needle avoiding scratching the surfaces of the holes.
After having dried each part with an absorbent cloth, and in order to guarantee the perfect performance of the spray
gun it is necessary to lubricate each tightening seat, and each friction zone, with the compatible lubricant included,
6
especially after each cleaning performed in a spray gun washer. It is important to check that the lubricant used does
not contain components that could ruin the quality of the atomization (silicones, etc.)
