Li-Ion Battery – Lancia Genio equipment version
Battery removal and insertion
The battery can be removed from the bike to prevent theft, for charging or to be stored in optimal conditions.
Li-Ion battery – Lancia Estro, Lancia Ypsilon Incanto and Lancia Ypsilon Brio version
Li-Ion battery – Lancia Genio version
Removing the battery:
Insert the key supplied in the lock on the frame and, after turning the key counterclockwise to the unlocking position, proceed
to remove the battery from its fixing seat in the frame.
Inserting the battery:
Insert the supplied key in the battery Battery lock/unlock mechanism on the frame and turn it counterclockwise. Insert the
battery in its seat integrated into the frame and turn the key clockwise until locked position to ensure correct anchoring to
the frame.
Verify that the battery is properly installed by making a vigorous extraction attempt.
Battery charging
Before using the electrically power assisted cycle for the first time, the battery must be fully charged using the battery charger
supplied.
It is advisable to charge the battery with its charger after each use of the electrically power assisted cycle.
The average time to fully charge the battery, which varies according to the residual charge level of the battery, can be estimat-
ed as shown in the sheet below.

Removing the battery:
Disable the battery via the specific switch and insert the
key supplied in the lock on the battery in the fixing struc-
ture of the same integrated in the rear rack. Turn the key
counterclockwise to the unlocking position and remove
the battery by pulling it out at the rear.
Inserting the battery:
Insert the supplied key into the lock in the battery
mounting structure built into the rear rack. Turn the key
counterclockwise to the unlocking position and insert the
battery in its seat making it slide until it impacts the end of
the structure. Complete the installation by turning the key
clockwise to the locked position.
Verify that the battery is properly installed by making a
vigorous extraction attempt.
