DOSING UNIT

The DOSING UNIT doses and releases the fuel directly into the boiler hopper. It must be connected to the system by means of the REED
wires and the ø 50 mm piping. (see following chapters).
The DOSING UNIT cannot work with dusty fuels, very fine fuels or fuels which are too large and have a length greater than 40 mm or a
diameter greater than 15 mm.
For pellets, the use of Enplus A1 certified fuel is recommended.
The optimal operating temperatures are between 0°C and +50°C.
The DOSING UNIT must not be exposed to the elements and it must not be installed in rooms subject to: high humidity, possible
flooding, high temperatures, the presence of dust or solvents.
The magnetic contact sensor called REED, applied to the discharge door of the DOSING UNIT, by means of an electrical connection
to the motorised storage unit, will monitor the correct operation of the conveying system. The magnetic contact sensor of the DOSING
UNIT will also ensure that the fuel conveying system switches off if the hopper to be topped up is full.
INSTALLATION
The hopper and the boiler must be levelled, see Figure 1.
To secure the DOSING UNIT on the boiler lid, use a 6 mm diameter drill bit to open the holes indicated in Figure 2.
Remove the circular part from the boiler lid where the DOSING UNIT is to be inserted (Figure 2).
Secure the DOSING UNIT on the lid, paying ATTENTION to the system connection wires called REED (see Figure 3).
