Preparing chemicals

Storage
o not store spray solution in the container or more than one day.
Always store and transport spray solution only in appro ed containers.

Keep spray solution out o the reach o children, other unauthori ed people and
animals.
Store the spray solution in a locked place secured against unauthori ed use.
Disposal
Ne er dispose o residual chemicals or contaminated rinsing solutions in waterways,
drains, sewers, street gutters, manholes or the like.
hen disposing o contaminated rinse, obser e all applicable laws, regulations and
ordinances.
Strictly obser e the precautionary instructions o the chemical manu acturer.
Filling the container
ighten all connections and check to be sure the pipes as well as a tube are
securely attached and in good condition. Keep the solution discharge le er closed.
Be ore using the mist blower with chemicals, ll it with resh water to assure that
you ha e assembled it properly and practice spraying. Also, check or any leaks at
this time. hen thoroughly amiliar with the mist blower operation, ollow normal
operating procedures.
ill your mist blower in well- entilated areas, outdoors.
o not use
ammables in the mist blower, which may cause e plosion resulting in serious
or atal injury
caustic or corrosi e materials in the mist blower, which could result in damage
to the unit
li uids with a temperature abo e 50 C to reduce the risk o scalding and damage
to the unit.
o ll the solution tank, place the mist blower on a le el sur ace, ll the solution
only in good light and isibility. o reduce the risk o contaminating the surrounding
en ironment, be care ul not to o er ll the solution tank with chemical solution.
o reduce the risk o injury, do not ll the mist blower while wearing it on your back.
you ll the solution tank with a hose attached to a central water supply, be sure the
end o the hose is out o the solution to reduce the risk o back ow, i.e. the chemicals
being sucked into the water supply in the case o a sudden acuum.
Calculate the correct amount o chemical solution so that it is used up at one time,
with no e tra solution le t o er in the tank.
A ter lling, t the solution tank cap and tighten it down rmly.
Check or leakage while re lling and during operation. A leak rom the solution tank
or a loose tting could soak your clothing and come into contact with your skin.
